I cannot even express how very annoyed I am that the blog I started here has locked me out and I have not been able to get in for the last couple months. I have wasted several hours of my life that could have been devoted to bringing about World Peace and increased my blood pressure over this ridiculousness. So, after taming my inner tantrum-inclined child I have finally caved and decided I need to start over. I will see about copying the other posts from the public view of the old blog so it'll all be in the same place, but I figure with the trips I've recently been on and the one I've got coming up, I need to move on.

So, Max Klondike, for anyone who's wondering, is a pseudonym I use made of two of my dogs' names. They've passed on a while ago, now, but I have many fond memories. Turns out that the prospector from 'The Abominable Snowman' (you know that stop action-ish cartoon-y xmas story that appears every year on tv?) is named Max Klondike. Friends gave me a little Max Klondike stuffed figure years ago and his name is right there on the tag. (Thanks, Grant!) And, yet, that has nothing to do with the name.
This is my name in the Single Action Shooting Society and on many an online site, so i figure it'll work here, too.
Well, lots of riding has been happening, so I'll get right on posting that stuff! Thanks to everyone for your continued enthusiasm and support! (and the occassional Slim Jim or Cadbury Egg. Yum.)
